Ciprian Meleciou started playing tennis at the young age of 6 and quickly rose to prominence as a top junior player in Romania, maintaining this status from ages 10 to 18. He graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports in Romania in 2006, cementing his foundation in sports science and coaching.

From 1997 to 2007, Ciprian worked as a personal tennis coach in Romania, training both national and international players who achieved impressive rankings of 440 ATP and 250 WTA. His expertise and dedication brought out the best in his players, guiding them to significant milestones in their careers.

In 2007, Ciprian moved to Cyprus and took on the role of Head Coach at Paralimni Tennis Club. Since then, he has been instrumental in developing junior performance tennis players, as well as coaching kids and adults. Under his leadership, players from this small community have achieved national and international championships, secured college tennis positions in the USA, and competed in the Davis Cup.

As a PTR member with a Professional Performance grade, Ciprian’s commitment to excellence is evident. His own accomplishments as a senior player include a world ranking of Number 15 in singles and Number 8 in doubles in the ITF Seniors M35 category. Additionally, he helped the Romanian team reach the 5th place at the World Championships Seniors 2013 in Antalya and was a semifinalist in singles at the European Championships Seniors 2013.
